Trustly at Dudespin

Open banking removes the middle account rather than adding one. Instead of loading a wallet and paying from it, the player authorises a transfer inside the bank's own interface and returns to the cashier with the amount already credited. It is the rail for people who want wallet speed without wallet paperwork. Where it fits among the alternatives is set out on the payments page.

What the service actually does

It holds no money. Acting as a licensed payment initiation provider, it asks the bank — with the customer's explicit consent — to start a transfer, and at the same moment confirms to the platform that the instruction was given. That dual action is what allows a balance to update immediately while the underlying bank settlement continues in the background. Login credentials stay inside the bank and are never passed to the cashier.

Authorisation happens where it should

European rules require strong customer authentication, so the payment is approved the same way any other transfer is: a code, a fingerprint or a tap inside the banking app. Nothing about the process is unfamiliar, which is much of the appeal — there is no new password to invent and no additional balance to keep topped up.

Deposits step by step

  1. Select the method in the cashier and enter an amount in euros.
  2. Choose a bank from the supported list and continue into its secure environment.
  3. Approve the payment with the usual second factor.
  4. Return to the cashier, where the balance has normally already updated.

The coverage question

This is the one genuine limitation. Open banking coverage is uneven across Europe — historically strongest in the Nordic and Baltic markets — and the list of supported banks depends on the agreements the payment provider holds at any given time. If a bank does not appear in the list, no configuration will make it work, and the sensible fallback is a direct transfer or a card. Checking the list before relying on the method saves a frustrating evening.

Payouts

Where the method is enabled in both directions, money returns to the same bank account used for the deposit without an IBAN having to be entered again, usually within hours of internal approval. Where it is enabled for deposits only, the payout is routed as an ordinary transfer to an account in the same name, which shifts the timing back onto the clearing calendar. Either way the identity check described under withdrawals comes first.

A quiet advantage on verification

Because the funds leave a bank account held by the player, the sender's name matches the account name by construction. That removes the single most common cause of a held first payout, and it is a better reason to choose the rail than the marginal difference in speed.

Availability, limits and timings are those the cashier displays under the operator's terms; the description above reflects how the method generally works. Back to all payment methods
